    Exactly what we're looking for!

    Summary: A great experience. We were with another uptime provider in the past which had problems with sending text messages to certain network in the UK. Their response was to speak to the network and see if there was anything they could do.. So we moved on, and we're so happy we did.

    Uptime.com offers a lot more in terms of functionality and configurability, with an excellent support team to back them up.

    We've been using them for the last 2 months and are very happy so far!

    Positive: Extremely easy to set up and use, with a very intuitive and well thought out interface.

    A vast array of checks are are available, and they provide a good amount of check locations.

    Excellent response times from the uptime support team. They respond quickly and work to get you moving as quickly as possible.

    Negative: It would be great to be able to set up contact groups, rather than having to add a contact to each check individually as that can be a bit cumbersome if you have a good number of contacts.

    We signed up for a trial originally, and when that expired we were unable to subscribe to the plan we wanted without contacting support as our trial had options from the higher tier. Would be useful if when the trial expired, your options were set back to the lowest level so there's no need to contact support.

    Summary: We use uptime.com for both platform and service status monitoring, in comply to SRE practice with error budgeting.

    In general, we are happy with the product and service provided and could definitely recommend this tool!

    Positive: The product is easy to use. It's got a comprehensive set of different monitor types that you can setup. Status pages are also customizable. It supports sub-accounts which works great for multi-tenant access. The support team is very responsive and helpful!

    Negative: The only issue we have is that you can't migrate a monitor history when there is need to change the type of a check. But it's understandable as this ensures the accuracy of the service status history.

    Devops friendly monitoring tool

    Summary: Product has very good potential, and the support experience was very positive. Could do with enhancing the built in metrics visualisation, specifically stacked metrics. I haven't actually checked the price tag yet, so I'm guessing when I say the price is good.

    Positive: Well designed API and terraform support out of the box. Obviously designed by someone with a background or at least a good understanding of operations/platforms teams.

    Negative: Charts are a bit basic, implemented using charts.js which means a bunch of features should come out of the box but have not as of yet been surfaced in the product offering, the crucial one is "stacked charts" for when you are monitoring latency from multiple points of presence.

    Summary: We are having a good experience with using the uptime.com, we were able to get the notifications through different mediums when a website or an endpoint is down, which is what we look for at the end of the day.

    Even though it doesn't have some of the features in their API's and as Terraform resources, we can still setup the things within the UI.

    Positive: It has most of the features that are needed for monitoring the websites/applications from a user's perspective. Has API's & Terraform resources for most of the features. Support is pretty good and provides quick responses.

    Negative: * Doesn't have API availability for some key features
    * Doesn't have vault capability to store the secrets that are used in the checks at the moment.
    * Minimal terraform resources available.

    Summary: Overall, I recommend this platform for small and medium enterprises (sME) and as a student myself, I do recommend this student that want to spend a good amount of money on a platform that monitors uptime of their projects better then most competitors.
