Summary: Excellent - I want any company I work at to have Consensus. This is the easiest software, and now so vital to our sales cycle.
Positive: Consensus is easy to use - both for our end users and prospects receiving demoboards. Account Executives are able to qualify and disqualify faster, prospects are able to receive tailored information and content, then easily share internally.
Negative: Minimal - the only ask has been to leverage virtual backgrounds on personal intro videos. However, this is already a feature request and has been upvoted.

Summary: Consensus has made a real difference in how we approach demos and early sales engagement. It’s taken pressure off our presales team and helped us move faster without sacrificing quality. We’re still exploring all the ways it can be used, but so far, it’s proven to be a flexible, valuable tool across the board.
Positive: Consensus has been a huge time-saver for our team. We originally brought it in to support presales with on-demand demos, but it quickly became useful across other departments too. The ability to share demos or interactive product tours that buyers can explore on their own has really helped us qualify leads more effectively. It's also a win for internal enablement: we use it for onboarding new team members and sharing consistent product messaging.
Negative: There’s a bit of a learning curve when you're first getting started, especially around the terminology. But once you get the hang of how things are organized, like demoboards and demolytics, it all starts to make sense. A few areas of the UI could be more intuitive, but nothing that’s a dealbreaker.

What a good marketing experience with Consensus Date: Apr 21 2025
Summary: We use Consensus to generate relevant content for our software publishing business and to be able to send targeted and dedicated materials.
Positive: Firstly, the ability to sort, organize, and classify the demo libraries is a real advantage for managing read and write permissions for our users who are in different divisions across various countries. Then, the easy creation of demoboards is a plus, and it has become even better since we can now associate tours with them.
Negative: I don't like the fact that I have to find all demoboards created by a person who left the company in order to replace him by another one. Indeed, if i don't do it, this left person will be visible in the demoboard for ever. That's exactly the same with permissions.

The analytics are insightful. The alerts are immediate.Negative: Needs a “watch all” option for prospects that don’t want to select topics.

Summary: I have used Consensus as a selling tool at a couple different companies. Being able to send recorded demos to my prospects has led to reduced sales cycle times in multiple instances. In my current role, I run around 2 demos per day that last close to 2 hours – if I’m not able to get to everything I want to show in one session, I used Consensus demos as follow up materials. I get notifications when someone starts to watch, which signals that it is a good time to give them a call.
Positive: What I like most about Consensus is that it allows you to potentially shorten your sales time and avoid multiple live demo's by having pre-recorded demos to send your prospects

Summary: Overall experience I have to say its a 10/10. Since using this product I have been able to easily identify quality leads for myself. Instead of wasting time doing a meeting with a customer that is not a good fit from the get go.
Positive: Love the ease of use to deliver high quality content to my prospects with a click of a button. I am very happy with their customer service as well. We have office hours dedicated to make sure that our team is able to get any questions answered directly from Consensus weekly.
Negative: The thumbnail that it gives in the body of the email is not my favorite
