See? Case sensitivity matters. And I _do_ see mynotes or MyNotes as 2 different things, and most people I know do too (as they should).

Example: Windows explorer kindly hides the file extension by default. The MyNotes (or mynotes) can be the executable and have a mynotes.ini on top of you having a mynotes.txt file.

There are multiple libraries available that do the conversion for you, just call the right code and you're set. Most unix systems either use unix time or epoch (although there are different versions of epoch), and display it according to the set locale. So for synchronised checks around the world, just call the unix/epoch timestamp "date +%s" and you don't have to take the conversion into account.

On top of that, people have emotions. Having a good day or bad day influences your results. In AI, if you use the same model/method/hash it will recreate the exact result time after time. People won't be able to do that. There will always be small differences.

Of course they can enable/disable it, since this nonsense wouldn't fly in Europe they will need to have an on/off switch. It's just an OTA update away.

Algorithms are basically those "other authorities" and make that virtually impossible these days, especially on social media. You get fed what they think will engage you (and rage is a good engager), not what is factual.
