They themselves proved you can't tell a chatbot to not be a therapist. You're not supposed to cut your hand off, there's no regulation telling people to not cut their hand off. You can't create an endless set of rules to tell you what you're not allowed to use free LLMs for. Anyone can train any number of LLM using free open source data sets with any restrictions (or no restrictions) it costs less than $1000 to train a basic 7b model with a credit card at any cloud provider. Next they're going to have signs on gas pumps instructing people not to douse themselves in gasoline and set themselves on fire.

I recall there was "premium" cable and that was HBO, Showtime, Cinemax and probably a handful of has-beens and regional ones that got bought out. I recall regular cable being ~$32/mo and with premium cable (HBO) it jumped up to ~$75 but they only had a few shows and movies would rotate, not too different from how it is now except it's streaming over the internet.

I'm in my 40s, but I'm pretty near sighted, so I don't use reading glasses yet, but I feel like in a few years I'll want the current sized phones.

But there are a lot of people under 45.

Submission + - Spaceballs 2 Trailer Drops (ign.com)

TronNerd82 writes: IGN announces that Mel Brooks and Amazon MGM Studios are hard at work on the long-awaited sequel to Brooks' 1987 classic, Spaceballs, a tongue-in-cheek parody of Star Wars replete with Mel Brooks' signature brand of off-color humor. Reports indicate that Bill Pullman and Rick Moranis are set to return to the roles of Lone Starr and Dark Helmet, respectively.

The film is looking towards a release to theaters in 2027 (2027?! That's the combination to my luggage!!) and has just seen a teaser trailer drop, viewable on YouTube. Very likely this will be the last film of Mel Brooks' career, as he approaches the age of 99.

I was going to get the next iphone mini, then they cancelled it.

Then I was going to get the next SE and then they cancelled it.

Apple was so close to having me switch.

At this point I'm going to be getting some terribly budget phone to get something not giant and it's super frustrating.

Phones are so HUGE now, but apparently that's the only thing people like.
