If your business is incapable of existing without breaking the law then the obvious answer is that your business should not exist. How is this even a question? In the past EVERY company that flaunted copyright has been bankrupted but now with companies doing it en masse it's suddenly OK?

I'm calling bullshit on all of these companies. If you want to reform copyright then do it like all the other businesses have, buy a congressman because you aren't special.

He took the LSD off of the shelf it had been sitting on for 5 years, and ate what he thought was a small dose ... 500 micrograms IIRC. It was fast more than 25 mics. You can easily conclude that if you read his book or the diary entries of his bicycle ride when tripping.

The shift represents a response to law enforcement's growing success in targeting traditional "bulletproof" hosting services

Is that actually a response to law enforcement's growing success or have they simply found that using a bunch of hacked devices that companies have abandoned is a better option?

“The issue is, you cannot technically distinguish which traffic in a node is bad and which traffic is good,”
“That's the magic of a proxy service—you cannot tell who’s who. It's good in terms of internet freedom, but it's super, super tough to analyze what’s happening and identify bad activity.”
“I don’t know yet how we can improve the proxy issue,”

To me, it seems like it has the distinct advantage of being better suited of the purpose and addition to being beyond anyone's reach. Law enforcement may not even be a real consideration here.

SMRs are toys.

I'm confused as to why you are dismissing SMRs as mere toys. There are a diverse number of SMRs designs that generate between 20 MW and 300 MW. Depending on how you want to deploy, you can have many sites (greater redundancy and fewer substations) or you can put several in a central location and be generate power on par with a normal large-scale reactor. They are also designed to be far simpler to manage.

But why is it Apple's job (or concern) to prevent other people from scams?

Because once their iPhones are infested with sideloaded malware, customers call Apple tech support and bring it to the "Genius Bar" at the Apple Store, and blame Apple for the problems.

Apple incurs costs and a hit to its image.

Apple can't just say, "You were stupid and now you've voided your warranty," because EU law doesn't let them say that.

The world's richest man and the president of the United States are now openly fighting.

Trump threatened to cancel Space X government contracts and Musk accused Trump to be a frequent flyer to the Pedophile Island. This would be highly entertaining if not for the potential to wreck companies, ruin the economy, and sabotage legislative agenda.
