The deep red ones very much answer to Trump, especially the ones with elections in 2-4 years. Unless there's a popular revolt on Trump, they will toe the line or risk being sent packing in the next primary.

How is streaming more detrimental to music discovery? I've listened to more and varied music and deep catalog stuff than ever before since I got a streaming plan vs. downloading (legal or otherwise) or purchasing music in stores. Is your impression that streaming is a single button like a radio and whatever is on is on so top 40 it is? Often times I'll follow a suggestion of something I haven't heard down to the artist, the album, their other albums, etc. Not sure how vinyl would help that unless I'm hanging in a record shop all the time.
Don't worry, they'll protest one these as well as soon as its ready. (Just 50 years away now!)
Think of all the coal miner's grandkids this will put out of work. Cancel it, dig dig dig!
Reddit has always been a lot about porn. My guess is they want in on the OnlyFans cash and let that type of creator just stay on Reddit and monetize directly there instead of going to OnlyFans. I guess there could be other types of subscription based subreddits but can't think of many others people would readily pay for.
Yeah right - if Harvard MBAs are at 25% then other MBA's are probably 50%. Say whatever you will about the modern university system (and there's plenty to say) but that's as much of a gold plated blue chip degree as MIT engineering or other top "brands". If they're having trouble, you can absolutely guarantee the state school underwater basket weavers are in absolute shambles.
I think you can counter with the absurdly huge variety and popularity in different micro/mid brew brands and styles. The place down the street from me will have no less than 20 types on tap any given night, including 3-4 of the same style (IPA, Lager). Plenty of people will choose based on things like types of hops, filtered/non-filtered, etc. The highest alcohol content aren't even the most popular. If you want to get wasted there's far more efficient ways of doing it that $15 four packs or $9 tap pours. A shot with a beer back will take care of that quickly.
Seems like you were in fact confused, or at best disingenuous as you didn't respond to any of the actual substance of the statement. Yes, everyone deserves to be a rent seeker with the time honored tradition of a government granted monopoly. No potential for corruption there!
Taxis sucked because of graft and protectionism at its best, and anyone ever stranded trying to get somewhere because the taxi they finally flagged down "doesn't go there" will be sure to play a sad tune on the world's tiniest violin while they wait for their Lyft.
There's a button on both the front and backseat screens to call an operator, who can reroute the car. I'm not sure if they can take over though -- apparently that's a requirement by the state but seems like a fantastic way to get someone killed vs. setting a new waypoint and letting all the safety features ensure no one gets run over. I've heard in most cases where it was stuck they sent a human to take over and drive the car out of the situation.
It really depends on the airline and route. Hub-hub sure, but you can find deals spoke-spoke and a lot of time 2x one ways are about the same as round trip. (There's also air miles and other things that could help reduce).
I think what they're saying is that Republicans don't need to pander to them to win Florida elections, so they can normalize relations despite the threat of losing that vote.
I'll say this honestly, you might be in deep shit. Your boss who knows you knows what you do and the value you've added - but unless there's a paper trail when your boss gets hit by a bus or something and the new efficiency expert shows up he's going to be having the "what would you say you do here" conversation with you right away. Oh and your data entry buddy gets a promotion. Such productivity!
Can we just make semiglutides affordable to everyone that wants one? Like under ACA and everything, $10 a month. Certainly insurance companies would do better in the long run if people were not as fat. Its like covering dental cleanings and not having to pay for more fillings.
When the bosses talk about improving productivity, they are never talking about themselves.
