Huh. If only there was an alternative between two all or nothing extremes. Like if someone were to make rules, "regulate" if you would, who can use the money and under what circumstances. We could even call these potential rules "regulations". Oooohhh and then we could task someone else to check up on how the money was spent, an "audit" as the fancy financial people say. That person who we could call something clever like an "auditor" can then report back on how the funds were actually used.

Requesting comment on the specific allegations as well as asking to talk with the people mentioned in the stories to get their side......*is* doing "basic diligence".

In this day and age why the fuck do y'all still let auto-update run on any device you own? It's been clear for years that changes made won't be in the consumer's interests.

I know, "but security" etc. No one cares about compromising most of y'alls printers. And if your organizations is important enough to be worth compromising, it's not going to be looking to save a few bucks on toner cartridges.
