There is a legal way for TfL to request information on EU citizens and their vehicles.
The issue is that TfL chose not to get information about the vehicles, instead just assuming the worst possible case for each vehicle and fining accordingly. On top of that, TfL did choose to get information on the EU citizens so they could send out the fines, but they got this information in an illegal way.
The fun part is that TfL not only broke EU law, but also UK law so they're going to get their ass handed to them in court, rightfully so.

Unlikely. Sharp lunges in demand and price have happened before, even as recently as 2013. The price went below the level which was viable for most US shale producers. They stopped producing. Some went bankrupt. Once demand and the price picked up, so did shale producers.
Oil has very elastic demand, but is has quite elastic supply too.

I hate to burst your bubble, but there is between 55% and 75% of people supporting being in the EU, depending which country you're asking. There is of course continued discussion of what areas the EU should govern instead of being governed by each state separately. Before Covid-19/Corona, most people were saying that having health policies at country level was ideal. Now consensus has shifted towards EU wide cooperation on health issues.

Even the UK is by now pretty sorry that they left (not so much because of Covid-19/Corona as a health issue, but because of its economic impact)..

Good for you (and everybody else) that as a prepper you bought masks when there were plenty available. Now that you have them, wouldn't society at large be better of if you gave them all to medical personnel? Protecting medical personnel brings a multiplication factor in protecting other people (by keeping more medical people healthy so they can treat people, and by having fewer infected medical personnel that can infect patients).
Doesn't that make you the selfish person for hanging on to those masks?

As a European, I have to second this. It is quite disconcerting to notice that our manufacturing is now completely done in Asia, which means that now that we need mask, hand sanitizer, respirators, ... we have to wait for the Chinese and the Russians to be kind enough to send us help. The EU government is always touting its own horn about how important they are, but right now they are nowhere to be seen.
I have a feeling that this crisis will be a wake up call and a serious catalyst for anti-globalization. Or maybe I'm just naive, and everybody will go back to where things were as soon as professional sports starts again.

This is really well played by Mozilla. We are witnessing a prime example of crisis-communication. The basic rules are:
  - Communicate early (even if you don't have all the facts yet)
  - Communicate honestly (even if you're to blame)
  - Promise follow-up (as needed)
Performing their crisis-communication this well will probably improve public perception of Mozilla. It will certainly raise the bar for other companies.
