The problem you miss is that some of us would rather not even pay for the addled video. Prime didn't change its fee when they added video, so give me a video-free alternative at a lower price. I resent paying for something I don't use.

They raised my fee. And kept raising it. That's why I cancelled. I have no desire to pay extra for video I don't watch, Music I don't listen to or whatever else "free" media they want to bundle into my price.

Noted nutcase AmiMoJo refuses to admit he was wrong, even though NBC News and the San Antonio Police Department both admit they were duped by Joss's transsexual "husband". Matt Walsh lays out all the receipts from credible news organizations, including videos of Joss and his neighbors, but AniMoJo puts his fingers in his ears and screams, "La La La La La". If he is representative, it's no wonder why the UK has become a clown show.

When was this? In the shows I remember, the only thing worse than the "special effects" was the plots.

That's what I remember too. I recall thinking they would have to work hard just to be on par with Lost in Space. The Sci part of their Sci-Fi seemed to be in short supply. I never could summon enough interest to try later attempts.

And the whole "private jets" and Bill Gates is a bad faith distraction used as a punching bag excuse as to why we can't do anything about the issue until we deal with those "dirty liberal elites" first, an argument straight from the playbook of other end of the "wealthy, powerful" interests. You can claim climate science is a distraction but this a bad faith distraction with malicious intent. And we know they are malicious liars because they stand in the way of any regulations that would curb that behavior like a carbon tax or restrictions on small plane use or fucking anything.

I have noticed a trend around here that began before COVID. Restaurant remodels started building open sheet metal ceilings with echoes so bad you can't talk to the person across the table. Throw in piped-in-music to help raise the racket level and it's a recipe for me to find somewhere else to spend my money. These aren't your typical slacker WiFi hangout spots either.

You need to contact Wikipedia, Forbes and Bloomberg. They have it all wrong on Trump's wealth. From Wikipedia:

For decades, Forbes has assessed his wealth, currently estimating it at $4.1 billion as of early April 2025. Meanwhile, Bloomberg estimated his wealth at $7.08 billion in January 2025, although Trump himself claims a much higher net worth.

They also say Musk borrowed $28,000 from his father to start his first company Zip2 which he sold for $307 million. So, he didn't really start with a few million.

No, its using population data to assign values to a population. Insurance by its nature distributes collective risk to all the individuals in the particular population. That is its purpose.
