The people on this site have been interesting; it's fascinating how, despite being smarter than average, they can't see beyond their taped eyeglasses. Everything is black-and-white to them and they can't imagine a scenario that's different than theirs. Those simply don't exist... No creative thinking, perhaps?

Regarding these posts, you think that less than 1% of the population is lazy? Ha. You assume I'm lazy? Ha, again.

-You didn't address the fun of frequently shuffling cars in the uncovered driveway in bad weather.
-What about installing expensive chargers in the yard for multiple cars?
-What happens when they break? Are there charger service people? 'Sounds expensive.
-We have wild animals that like chewing wires.
-Strangers might trip on wires in our dim driveway (it's a dark suburb with no sidewalks).
-I didn't even mention the charger-less street-parking found in the congested major urban areas.
-Copper wire theft will be rampant in some areas; they're already ripping pipes out of the walls of houses they break into.

I want an EV; I wouldn't have to deal with ignorant, expensive mechanics anymore. But I understand how this doesn't automatically fit everyone's life. Right now, it doesn't suit mine.

Cool! Although I won't buy an EV unless it can be garaged and charged in there because I don't want to play shuffling games every time I park my car ("Does the daughter's car have enough charge for her next trip or should I swap her car position with mine right now? What about the wife's? It is raining hard... Ugh.").

I think you left out houses. Not all of them have garages large enough to handle the number of family cars that need charging overnight. We have three ungaraged cars. The neighbors have five cars in their driveway. One coworker has ten kids. Everywhere I look from my window, there are cars stuck in the driveways. And it rains and snows here.

The result would be installing/maintaining multiple chargers, all over the driveways. Another coworker already had me repair his EV charger wire after he hit is with a snow-thrower.

I don't care for the typically used disclaimer that unless one has a chronic condition, the immune system will clear X. What if one is emotionally stressed on a given week, causing a weakened immune system... What if one is also fighting a common illness, causing a weakened immune system... What if one was mildly food poisoned (with increased intestinal permeability), causing a weakened immune system... What if one is dealing with extreme weather temperatures, causing a weakened immune system... What if one is temporarily undernourished, causing a weakened immune system... What if one simply gets an extra-deep scratch...

This stuff can affect us all and can be nearly impossible to cure as they are good at entrenching and evading the immune system. I've read that Candida (pronounced "can-deh-duh", not "can-dee-duh"!), for example, wraps itself in sugar which kills immune cells that contact it. Clever girl.
