I was actually in France just last week with a rental car (a Skoda, a pretty cheap but modern car). I did see some signs about emission zones but never thought much of it, nobody said I might get in trouble. Probably because you would not get in trouble. This was aimed at getting rid of really polluting old cars and is not burdensome at all despite all the right-wing virtue signaling being spewed.

That is Signals fault, and not the OS fault. Dumbass.

Thy simply do not want to "compile" for older OSes as they think if a support issue comes, it is the OS fault and not their own.

And: you simply can open the App with command or alt click (do not remember), and then open the relevant *plist file, and change the "OS requirement" in a fucking dumb text editor.

And, unless you have a complicated app: it just works. Wow, I repeated an Apple marketing slogan. My fault.

The hardware does not need to be upgraded.

It works just fine.

And there never was a motivation for me or my friends to buy a new Mac model because it "ran out of support".

Why would anyone do that?

The idea that an OS needs constant upgrades is just hyperbole.

If your browser stops working, then learn ho to use "brew update SSL-certificates" (google how to do it exactly).

Apple is not forcing any "upgrades", you are just an idiot that does not know computers or an OS works.
